Underwater Survey & Map Making

This course is primarily intended for cave divers. All aspects of surveying and mapping are covered. Students receive basic training in drafting and special attention is given to dive planning during survey work with a special emphasis on safety. Six of the ten dives required for certification are conducted by the student without instructor supervision.

Duration: Four days.
Water work: Ten dives.
Prerequisites: Full Cave Diver.
