One of SDI’s most popular courses, the solo diver program teaches experienced recreational divers how to safely dive independently of a dive buddy or strengthen your buddy team skills. The course stresses on proper dive planning, personal limitations, accident prevention as well as the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for diving solo. You will also learn the additional equipment that is required for solo diving including it’s proper usage and assembly. This is the perfect course for underwater photography and underwater video divers.
Water work: Two open water dives are required with complete briefs and debriefs; all dives must include surface interval, max. no-deco time, etc., to be figured out and logged during the debriefing.
Prerequisites: Minimum age of 21 years, Advanced Diver or equivalent, a minimum of 100 logged dives, review and complete Medical History form and Liability Release form review and complete Solo Diver Release form.
Course Fee: $ USD Tax Included. Private instruction is available on request.
Certification: SDI Solo Diver.
Equipment included: Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Regulator, BCD, Wetsuit, Aluminum tank, Weight belt, Weights, Open Water Diver Manual, Showers, Daily locker.
